What's Your Favorite to Least Favorite Netflix/Marvel Series? (Spoilers Ahead!)

With The Defenders coming this August, we finally get to see our street-level Marvel heroes team-up. The anticipation has been building since Marvel announced the four properties being made into Netflix shows. The chain of events began in 2015 with the release of Daredevil, which then lead into Jessica Jones later the same year, Luke Cage the following year, and finally, Iron Fist the year after. With amazing reception for the first three characters, the final Defender, Iron Fist, was met with mixed reviews from fans and critics. Regardless of what anyone believes, I think Iron Fist was great. Sure, it wasn't as incredible as the shows before it, but Iron Fist still held its own in its unique way, digging more into the supernatural aspect of the Marvel/Netflix universe. Danny Rand and Stephen Strange should chat over coffee sometime. With that being said, which was your favorite series of the four? Ranking from best to worst. Here's my personal opinion on the Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

1. Luke Cage

Luke Cage has got to be my personal favorite of the four heroes. From the music to the struggle living in harsh conditions, I can relate. The soundtrack is AMAZING. Give it a listen if you haven't already. This series I felt more emotionally attached to the characters than I ever did with the other three. Luke Cage, in my opinion, is without a doubt one of the best Marvel Cinematic Universe adaptions, counting both films and television shows. Not to mention the great villains introduced like,

The "Pimp Stormtrooper"

Cornel "Cottonmouth" Stokes

Mariah Dillard

Shades!

2. Jessica Jones

It was a struggle choosing between this and Luke Cage as my number one show. This series fits more as number 1.5 than two honestly. The reason why the series stuck out to me so much is simple: a strong, female protagonist! literally and figuratively STRONG. It seems like Melissa Benoist's Supergirl kicked it off for super-gals of this generation and I am LOVING female heroes being introduced more and more to the audience. Jessica Jones KICKS ASS. There's just something about her attitude that attracts me, both to the show and her. Aside from Jessica, I loved these two characters specifically,

Patricia "Trish" Walker/Hellcat

Kilgrave/Purple Man

Who the hell doesn't love David Tenant?! It's not everyday we get to see the Tenth Doctor as a grade-A villain. Unless you count his appearance as Barty Crouch Jr. in the Harry Potter franchise that is.

3. Iron Fist

As I said before, I show no shame in admitting I love this show. You'll hear different opinions from almost everybody else but I still love it. Love it with a capital "L". I will admit, the fight scenes weren't as amazing as they should've been, considering this show was heavily influenced by martial arts, but I still found this show enjoyable for what it is. Here's one thing I WILL nitpick though,

I Wanted More K'un-Lun!

Okay, ONE more thing I'll nitpick,

I Wanted More Davos!

I guess we'll have to wait until next season, or beyond, to see what Davos is cooking up. Cough, cough...

Steel Serpent

Oh hey, another fun thing about this series is, we get to see the Iron Fist costume! Sure, it's not Danny Rand sporting it, it's a previous Iron Fist, but we still get an Easter egg look at it. I can go to bed happy knowing that.

Last but certainly not least,

4. Daredevil

Don't get me wrong, between Iron Fist and Daredevil, the latter is clearly the better series. The reason why Daredevil comes last in my list is a personal reason. A reason I still can't fully explain today. I took me FOREVER to finish each season. It wasn't that I didn't enjoy it, but for some reason, I just didn't binge it like I did the rest. Why? I have no clue. My buddy suggests that I might just not be into the character of Daredevil as much as I thought I was, which may very well be the reason. Again, I don't know. Here's my top reasons why I enjoyed this series so far,

The Punisher

Seriously, this guy is BAD-ASS. Without a doubt, the best adaption of Frank Castle since Thomas Jane back in the 2004 film. I'm looking forward to seeing this guy tear apart criminals in his solo series coming later this year. Also, GO SHANE. Where are my Walking Dead fans at?

Elektra

Speaking of bad-ass, I'd be terrified running into Elektra in a dark alleyway. What I like most about her character is, besides her good looks, how she pushes Matt Murdock to embrace what he fully is as Daredevil. Here's to seeing her revival in the upcoming Defenders crossover series. You go, girl.

The Black Costume

Nice throwback nod to the Frank Miller storyline. I'm diggin' it. Not bashing on the classic red costume or anything but I wish Matt would go back to this outfit more often. I'm just saying. Or maybe even the Daredevil Yellow costume...

If you haven't seen The Defenders trailer yet, you can check it out below. I've watched it myself a good million times now:
